T-Central Inauguration Ceremony

In a move set to redefine Tsim Sha Tsui Central, Miramar Group today launched the "T-Central Strategic Development Association" ("T-Central" in short form, standing for "T-S-T Central"). This collaborative initiative, backed by key stakeholders, aims to unlock the area's cultural and economic potential through strategic development and resource optimization.

The launch event, held at Miramar Group's Thai restaurant Mue Mue in Mira Place. Officiating the ceremony were prominent figures including Mr. Edward Yu, JP, District Officer (Yau Tsim Mong); Mr. Alan Chan, Initiator of T-Central and Chief Operations Officer of Miramar Group; and Mr. Andrew Yu, Chairman of the Incorporated Owners of Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard. The event drew significant attention, attracting over 30 distinguished guests from the government and business sectors, alongside key media and influential figures from the realms of lifestyle, food & beverage, as well as wine & dine.

Mr. Alan Chan, Initiator of T-Central and COO of Miramar Group, shared his vision that T-Central plans to propose various optimization projects to the Government, such as establishing a tourist bus route connecting the West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, the West Kowloon Cultural District, and the Hung Hom Station. This route would link hotels, shopping destinations, and tourist attractions within the area, providing convenient transportation for both visitors and residents.

Mr. Edward Yu, JP, District Officer (Yau Tsim Mong), expressed his support: "We are delighted to witness the establishment of the T-Central platform, which facilitates the communication among the Government, the District Council, and relevant stakeholders to devise strategies to attract both locals and tourists to visit the Tsim Sha Tsui Central area and savor the area's rich array of culinary delights, shopping experiences, cultural offerings, and historical treasures, so as to implement the concept of "tourism is everywhere in Hong Kong" and boost the local economy."

Mr. Andrew Yu, Chairman of the Incorporated Owners of Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard, expressed his enthusiasm: "We are honored to witness the establishment of T-Central. We are confident that by uniting stakeholders and implementing beautification projects, transportation improvements, and diverse events, T-Central will transform this area into a vibrant hub for tourism, leisure, and culture. This will enhance the synergy and attractiveness of Tsim Sha Tsui Central, offering residents and visitors a revitalized experience.

The launch of T-Central marks a new chapter in the development of Tsim Sha Tsui Central. The association will continue to engage local groups, businesses, and key stakeholders to address shared concerns and provide recommendations for the advancement of tourism and community development in Hong Kong. With collaborative efforts, Tsim Sha Tsui Central is poised for an even brighter future.
